What is Blood on the Clocktower?
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game, kind of like Werewolf or Mafia, but with more strategy, more information, and everyone stays involved. Players are secretly assigned roles. Most players are Townsfolk trying to find and execute the evil Demon. A few players are on the evil team, helping the Demon mislead the town. The game alternates between night and day phases. At night, players close their eyes while certain characters secretly wake up and use their abilities. Some might learn clues, some might protect others, and the Demon chooses someone to kill. During the day, everyone talks, shares information, bluffs, accuses, and tries to figure out who is lying. The group can nominate a player for execution, then everyone votes. Executing the Demon usually wins the game for the good team, but executing the wrong person can help evil get closer to victory. One of the coolest parts is that dead players still participate. Even after your character dies, you can still talk, share theories, and influence the game. You only get one final vote after death, so every choice matters.
